How our MOU process works

  • Each relationship must support the charitable mission and serve a genuine community need
  • Written agreements identify the purpose, responsibilities, service area, term, and authorized representatives
  • Partners must follow applicable laws, safeguarding standards, safety rules, and confidentiality requirements
  • Fundraising, donation collection, branding, and financial commitments require specific written authorization
  • Program activities and resources should be documented for accountability and reporting
  • Either organization may end or revise a partnership according to the signed agreement
